Values

  • Relationship first

We are people with inherent value, dignity, and belonging; our accomplishments and the roles we play are only part of our story. We strive to lead with mutual respect and care for others and ourselves.

  • The ends are the means

We know how we do something, shapes that which is done.

  • There is wisdom in timing

We trust the wisdom present but not always visible in life’s unfolding. We trust the rhythms of nature, the ebb and flow. We are discerning about when to push and when to wait, when to surrender and when to act.

  • Followership and solidarity

We follow and support Black and Indigenous leadership while doing the work to find and deepen the mutuality to our cause.

  • Possibility not punishment

We cannot shame ourselves into change, we can only love ourselves into evolution.
